The purpose of the association is to strengthen the values of the free and democratic basic order through a Jewish civil-society voice and to advocate for Jewish concerns within the majority society.
This serves the common good of Germany and Europe. The association promotes values-based political, social and media discourse, Jewish civic engagement in Germany, German-Israeli relations and interreligious dialogue.
Application for supporting membership
The membership fee is at least EUR 19 per year. As we are a non-profit organisation, you can claim the membership fee for tax purposes simply by presenting your bank statement to the tax office. You can apply for membership directly online – including the SEPA direct debit mandate – or download the forms as PDFs and send them to us signed.
