1. What this is about
This is a translation for information purposes. The legally binding version is the German one.
This website stores only what is strictly necessary on your device. Embedded videos and podcast episodes are loaded only once you have given your consent. Preview images in the media library are an exception, see section 4.
2. What we do not use
No analytics or statistics services, no advertising networks, no tag manager, no counting pixels, no profiling. Fonts and the background video on the home page are held on our own server, so that no connection to third parties is established. The spam protection of our forms works without cookies and without external services.
3. Technically necessary storage
These entries are required for operation and do not need consent.

4. Third-party embeds
We embed videos and podcast episodes from YouTube, Podcaster.de and Prezi on our pages. As long as you have not given your consent, you will see a preview tile in these places and nothing is loaded.
If you consent, your browser establishes a connection to the respective provider. In doing so, your IP address and details of your device are transmitted; the providers may set their own cookies, for example YouTube the entries VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE and YSC. We have no influence on this processing. The privacy policies of Google Ireland Limited (YouTube), podcaster.de and Prezi Inc. apply. In the case of YouTube and Prezi, a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG (the German Digital Services Data Protection Act) and Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR (DSGVO).
Preview images in the media library
An exception is the small preview images of the event recordings on the page Media Library: they are loaded directly from YouTube’s image server when the page is called up. No cookies are set in the process and nothing is stored on your device; Google does, however, learn your IP address and the page called up. We are preparing to move these images to our own server. Further details can be found in our Privacy Policy.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
Via the link “Change cookie settings” in the footer of every page. The withdrawal takes effect from the time of the change; what was transmitted before that remains unaffected.
6. Deleting cookies in your browser
All common browsers allow you to delete stored cookies and to refuse future ones. You will find the corresponding setting in the privacy or security settings of your browser. If you block all cookies, we may not be able to store your choice and the banner may appear again on every visit.
