FDGO declaration (declaration of commitment to the freiheitlich-demokratische Grundordnung, the free democratic basic order) We hereby confirm that we – affirm the free democratic basic order of the Federal Republic of Germany and – will do our utmost to ensure that our work furthers the aims of the Grundgesetz (Germany’s Basic Law, its constitution). As the body responsible for the funded measure, we are furthermore obliged, within the scope of our means, to ensure that the organisations, speakers and contracted service providers of all kinds selected as partners likewise commit themselves to the aims of the Basic Law. The purpose of this is that material or immaterial support should be granted only to those who are part of the free and democratic culture of society and who uphold it.
