In defence of BDS it is argued that there are reasonable voices within the movement which would be silenced by a “criminalisation” of BDS, and that BDS is therefore worth protecting. It is also claimed that in the West Bank and Gaza there are only two kinds of organisation: those that advocate violence and those that advocate BDS – and that it is surely better to work with the latter.
