On 16.03. we met Marlene Schönberger, rapporteur for Jewish life of the BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN parliamentary group in the Bundestag. Having already spoken with our participants about her work at the Political Forum of WerteInitiative (https://werteinitiative.de/en/national-political-seminar-jewish-life/), this time there was the opportunity to present the work of WerteInitiative. There was broad agreement that antisemitism from all directions represents a major threat to Jewish life in Germany. Only holistic approaches are capable of setting something concrete against this threat. Ms Schönberger is currently writing her doctorate on conspiracy ideologies and antisemitism. We are glad that such a professionally competent voice is available as a contact person for Jewish life, and we thank her for the cooperation.
