Edit, June 2018: In view of the now regular inflammatory and socially divisive statements made by AfD representatives, we have removed the party affiliations from the list so as not to lend any support whatsoever to their agenda!
As part of a survey of political parties ahead of the Bundestag elections, we accepted signatures of support on an open list; these included a small number of AfD members (<1%), whom we left on the list for reasons of openness and democracy.
We have no illusions whatsoever about this party’s political agenda and do not regard it – as we have stated repeatedly in the press – as a suitable partner for achieving our objectives.
We therefore expressly declare that we dissociate ourselves from the AfD.
