Jewish-German association WerteInitiative supports the protest of the “Iranians of Berlin” on Saturday 15.07, at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Brandenburg Gate
Berlin, 14.07.2023 – The recently published report of the Verfassungsschutz (Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution) has clearly addressed the potential threat to Jewish life in Germany. This is nothing new to us. The “Islamic Republic of Iran” has been torturing, murdering and terrorising for over 40 years, commits human rights crimes on a daily basis and finances terrorism worldwide. Because of its antisemitic and inhumane state doctrine, opposition members, Jews, Israelis and their institutions living abroad are also exposed to the threat posed by the Islamist mullah regime.
WerteInitiative – jüdisch-deutsche Positionen e.V. therefore supports the cause of the organisation “Iranians of Berlin” and stands in solidarity with the democracy movement in Iran.
The chairman of WerteInitiative, Elio Adler:
“The Islamic Republic of Iran also represents a growing threat to national security in Germany. Jews and (German-)Iranians are acutely threatened by Iran’s henchmen and share the hope for a free Iran. We must pull together so that the regime is finally isolated and a change of regime can come about.”
The “Revolutionary Guards” in particular, the regime’s paramilitary unit, are involved in the brutal suppression of the protests in Iran. They operate in many countries and, according to the reports of the Verfassungsschutz of recent years, here in Germany as well. The Revolutionary Guards are on the terror list in the USA and in Canada and must be sanctioned at EU level too.
