Yesterday we took the opportunity of a meeting with the Federal Government’s Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Antisemitism, Dr Felix Klein, to hand him a dossier on the anti-Israeli boycott campaign. He is well aware of the background and the true intentions of the BDS campaign and encouraged us to draw the attention of political decision-makers to it more forcefully.
Dr Klein gave us some insights into his current work and his plans: he is genuinely trying to move things forward. Thank you, Dr Klein, for your work, which serves not only the Jewish minority but equally the peace of society as a whole in Germany: for antisemites are usually also the enemies of a free and democratic social culture.
