Mr Luksic had come to our attention because of his clearly rejecting stance on BDS. Another topic where domestic and foreign policy meet is so-called “criticism of Israel”. We agreed: sometimes what lies behind it is not criticism of a state’s government action but classic antisemitism with demonisation and conspiracy theories.
