Berlin, 30.11.2022 – The Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Antisemitism, Dr Felix Klein, presented the “Nationale Strategie gegen Antisemitismus und für jüdisches Leben” (National Strategy against Antisemitism and for Jewish Life, NASAS) in Berlin today. WerteInitiative welcomes the NASAS.
Elio Adler, Chairman of WerteInitiative – jüdisch-deutsche Positionen e.V., said on this: “The NASAS is the holistic approach in the fight against antisemitism that we too have been calling for over some time. Hostility towards Jews is a problem for society as a whole. The NASAS takes account of this.”
In addition to five fields of action, the strategy also describes three cross-cutting dimensions. Together they form the framework of the strategy.
Adler: “The NASAS sets a far-reaching and well-considered framework for the fight against antisemitism. What is now necessary is that this framework be filled with concrete content.”
