At the beginning of December we met Senator Dr Lena Kreck and State Secretary Saraya Gomis in the building of the Berlin Senate Department for Justice, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination.
We exchanged views on a wide range of topics: the fight against antisemitism as a task for society as a whole, the role of the Land of Berlin in promoting democracy, and anchoring the fundamental values of a free and democratic order in the everyday coexistence of Berliners.
We agreed that antisemitism is a cross-cutting issue that must be tackled in all areas and at all levels of Berlin politics and society, for example also in the initial and further training of judges.
We warmly thank Senator Dr Kreck, State Secretary Gomis and their staff for the interesting exchange and look forward to working together!
