We warmly thank our cooperation partners, the Finkelstein Stiftung and the Bundesverband der Musikindustrie (BVMI)! Without their support the project would not have been possible. The multi-day programme led right into the heart of political Berlin. The participants gained, in the course of personal conversations in the Bundestag with members of parliament from the SPD, CDU/CSU, Greens and FDP parliamentary groups, at the Bundesministerium des Inneren and Jewish organisations as well as socially relevant actors direct insight into the broad spectrum of topics surrounding Jewish life. The programme was rounded off by a visit to the Zentralrat der Juden, meetings with representatives of liberal and orthodox Judaism and a panel discussion with several political foundations.
Our aim was to strengthen the participants in their own political engagement or their journalistic background knowledge and work through informative conversation formats and mutual dialogue, and to foster a deeper understanding of Jewish-German cross-cutting topics and structures .We thank the Hans und Berthold Finkelstein Stiftung and the Bundesverband Musikindustrie e.V. for their support with this project.
