Last week we met Secretary General Mario Czaja at the federal headquarters of the CDU.
After a brief presentation of our work we talked about how the active strengthening of our free democratic constitutional values is indispensable for safeguarding Jewish life in Germany. Beyond that it is also a precondition for a peaceful social coexistence. In this we were in agreement: democratic coexistence only works if everyone is aware of the shared values of freedom and acknowledges the responsibility connected with them.
