In this WI-Talk, Leonard Kaminski talks to the newly elected president of the Jüdische Studierendenunion Deutschland (JSUD, Jewish Student Union of Germany), Hanna Veiler, about the reader on the topic of youth that was produced in cooperation between our organisations!
Last year, together with the JSUD, we conducted a survey on the living realities and perspectives of young Jews in Germany. Against the background of the recently concluded European Year of Youth, we surveyed Jewish people between 15 and 35 and drew from this a picture of the mood as well as possible political and social challenges relating to various topics. Hanna Veiler wrote a contribution on the subject of “tokenism” and talks about the most pressing issues for young Jews in Germany.
