In recent days there have been anti-Israel demonstrations in Berlin with serious antisemitic incidents. The shock in the Jewish community is great, for the last wave of anti-Israel demonstrations was only in 2021.
The frequency of the demonstrations is increasing and there is a danger that these demonstrations will become an annual ritual around Ramadan and the founding of the State of Israel.
At the same time there are video recordings showing how the police exclude journalists from the demonstration at the organiser’s request. This obstructs the work of the press, but also the documentation of antisemitic incidents.
