On 5 May we met the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Michael Roth (SPD). The occasion was our publication “Außenpolitik – jüdisch-deutsche Perspektiven (Foreign policy – Jewish-German perspectives)“, which Mr Roth received with great interest.
Mr Roth, who has long had a high sensitivity regarding how hatred of Jews is dealt with, emphasised that antisemitism also represents a significant parameter in international relations and in German foreign policy. That inevitably led us to the topic of the “war against Ukraine”, which shows that cooperation with autocrats can lead to massive problems.
