In our new format Blitz-WI-Talk we this time spoke with the publicist and politically active Mihail Groys about his newly published book “Meine deutsche Geschichte – wie ich als ukrainischer Jude meine neue Heimat sehe”.
In his new book Mihail Groys looks at the country that became his home a quarter of a century ago – a country he analyses today with a sharpened eye. His life story begins in the Donbas, from where he came to Germany with his family in the 1990s. But Groys does not look at Germany only through the eyes of an immigrant. As a Jew he perceives developments, debates and moods in a particular way.
