The organisers of the “Women’s March USA” have repeatedly drawn attention through antisemitic statements, the trivialisation of antisemitism and the exclusion of Jews and Zionists. Opposing antisemitism also means not honouring organisations that fail to draw a clear line against anti-Jewish attitudes, or whose board members have stood out through antisemitic hatred of Israel. We are glad that the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung – not least after our protest – has reconsidered the matter and cancelled the award.
