Thus also invited to the presentation of the initiative is Elio Adler of the Jewish-German „WerteInitiative“ Adler welcomes the Muslim founding, as does Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn (CDU), who however emphasises that he had come as a member of the Bundestag and as a „political person“. Spahn says that for him it is a matter of „how we can strengthen and support those who actually want to strengthen and represent a secular Islam here in Germany, an Islam that does not lay claim to the worldly, to the sphere of the state – how we can help them.“
